COMPETENT CREW /HELMSMAN

This is a course for beginners to cruising and teaches personal safety, seamanship and helmsmanship to the level required to be a useful member of the crew

DAYSKIPPER

5 day shorebased theory course in the classroom, £295 includes RYA teaching pack

A practical course to teach pilotage, navigation, seamanship and boat handling up to the standard required to skipper a small cruising yacht safely by day in tidal waters.

COASTAL SKIPPER

The aim of this course for the more experienced, is to teach the skills and techniques required to skipper a cruising yacht (7-15m LOA) safely on coastal and offshore passages by day and night.

RYA/MCA EXAMINATIONS AND PREPARATION COURSES

RYA/MCA Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Offshore Certificates of Confidence are gained by examination conducted by an independent examiner, with 4 days preparation.

OTHER COURSES

International Certificate Of Confidence ( ICC ) required to visit European ports and harbours £150 pp or £125 pp on your boat

This is a one day test to at least Dayskipper standard
